Travel: Bandung

Hello I'm back in this space after a hiatus. So many things that I want to post but am just too lazy looking at the vast amount of photos I have taken especially during the China trip. After the work trip, I flew off again to Bandung! This time round with K the shopaholic. It's really a shopping trip as days were mostly spent at factory outlets grabbing good deals. 

Early morning flight and we reached Sensa Hotel at Jl. Cihampelas. Pretty simple hotel that looks like a spa salon. I like the white and green theme room! Nothing to complain about just that room is not soundproof hence we get to hear the prayers every morning.

We had lunch at BMK which seems like a local fast food chain. The hotel location is really convenient as you can get food and shopping all within Cihampelas Walk. We had cappuccino with pearls, ayam penyet and bakmi keriting ayam rica  for lunch.

We planned to take cab to the factory outlet but it was rather hard to get one. So we decided to hop on the local bus (van?). The experience with this local transportation was hilarious due to communication breakdown. We were lucky to have nice locals to give us directions and even bring us to take the correct bus to our destination. I really don't get how this system works as there is no number/ any indication on where the bus is going.

Massage at Zen Family Relaxology after shopping. Definitely must go! The business was good as the full body massages were all fully booked. We chose the back and shoulder massage. But they do hands and foot massage as well, like a full body massage afterall. Nice relaxing 100 minutes! 

Dinner at Shin Men Japanese Resto located at Paris Van Java. A romantic dinner under the cherry blossom tree haha! On the table: Salmon flower, tempura udon and gyu niku udon. Nothing too special about Paris Van Java, it has lots of brands like Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Aldo etc which we can find in Singapore. A place to visit if you are looking for a place to drink at night in Bandung as there are a few bars around. As for us, we just walked around and did some grocery shopping at Carrefour before heading back to our hotel.
