The long weekend is here again thanks to Hari Raya Haji. My favourite thing to do over long weekend like this is to go overseas. Wherever will do, just out of Singapore, away from the bustling city. We decided to go on a 2D1N trip to Batam this time round. 

Setting off from Harbourfront ferry terminal in the morning.

Arrival at Harbour Bay. The ride was much faster than expected. 

As our room was not ready yet when we arrived at the hotel, we decided to walk to BCS Mall which was just a stone's throw away from our hotel for lunch. We had our lunch at Citra Pempek which was recommended on some online reviews that I read but the food quality was not that good.

Checking in BCC Hotel & Residence. The room is very spacious and clean. I like the simple yet modern design of the room. One thing to pick on will be that a tad of sewage smell coming from the toilet but keeping the door closed will prevent the smell from coming out. 

Alfresco dining at A2 Food Court just behind the hotel. Food was not bad and really cheap. We ordered a table of food and shoved them down into our stomach.

We returned to BCS Mall after dinner for arcade time and grocery shopping.

Movie (Mama Mia) and card playing night with some drinks. And this marked the end of our first day of this short trip.
